These stones made in Czechoslovakia by Preciosa use a special technique that when you hold the bead up the top 3/4 is clear glass and the color is floating in the bottom. This creates a water like effect of color.

This color is beautiful and classic robins egg blue and a perfect match for the vintage enameled blue birds hanging from the glass stone.

The bluebirds are also vintage from the 1960s. They perfectly match the robin's egg blue in the glass stone. The enamel is perfectly placed so that the vintage and "aged" look is kept in the piece.

The glass stone and blue bird hang from a small shell lever back ear wire. The shell lever back is in gold tone and matches the gold metal the stone sits in and the gold in the blue bird. A robin's egg blue faceted bead hangs just below the ear wire on each side and glimmers beautifully in the light.

The glass stone and bird hang just 1.5" from the ear wire.
